Mission Statement:
To make the broader military community, and the public at large, better aware of the ongoing role of the SEABEES as U.S. Navy combat troops and construction workers heavily involved in national defense and humanitarian aid worldwide. |
"DID YOU KNOW ?" A SEABEE Prayer in Navy Bible?
From one of "Stormin's" shipmates:
Today is my birthday, and my wife presented me with a book titled, The
Sailor's Bible. I had never seen this before, and it contains many passages
and messages pertaining to the Navy.
Even though I am sure you probably have head this before, since I know you
are the expert and curator of anything to do with the Seabees, I just wanted
to pass along this message that was in this Sailor's Bible. ( Thanks for the
buildup Dave, but "Stormin' " is no expert! )
It is called the Seabees' Hymn written by: R.J. Dietrich (1960),
I thought I would share this with you or anyone else who has not heard of it.
